One of the most amazing things in the world to me is the ability to communicate with others. My goal by the end of this is to be able to carry basic conversations in at least 5 languages. (The primary ones now are Italian, Spanish, ASL, Greek, and Czech, but that may change based on availability of people to teach me those.) I'll be using my friends and acquaintances at Northwestern to help me learn, because there's nothing like having a close friend laugh at you for butchering a word so hard it sounds like a completely new language.
This will be an adventure.
